One: almost every perfume is mostly alcohol. Two: for cosmetics it is denatured, made undrinkable with an additive so that no duty is due. On the label that reads “Alcohol denat.”, and the additive is not named. Three: it can be done without. Undenatured alcohol is fully taxed and more expensive, which is why hardly anyone does it. Anyone can put “natural” on a label. ISO 9235, they cannot. The standard says: the material was obtained by physical means only, distilled, pressed, extracted, and not chemically altered afterwards. Wyld Notes states that it uses only natural materials that meet this standard. That is the difference between a word and a yardstick. Ad, link in bio.
